The Technical Advisory Council of the FCC includes a diverse range of leading technical experts. They help to provide the technical expertise the FCC requires to determine vital areas of innovation and develop informed technology policies supporting the U.S.’s competitiveness in the world economy.
The Technical Advisory Council is helping the FCC to continue to facilitate the putting forth of recommendations and ideas in the National Broadband Plan. This includes how broadband communications can be part of the solution for the delivery and cost containment of health care, for environmental and energy conservation, for education innovation, and in the creation of jobs.
